Who handles your data
Juste Samulėnaitė operates the AnchorsDb newsletter and is the controller of your newsletter data.

What we collect and why
We use your email address to send a confirmation link and, after you confirm, newsletters about anchoring industry news, ETA updates and product features. We also keep the signup date, confirmed subscription status and when it was recorded, the consent wording and the privacy information shown when you signed up.
The legal basis for newsletter delivery is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Subscribing is optional and is not required to use AnchorsDb. We do not use newsletter data for automated decision-making or profiling.
To prevent abuse, we temporarily record a keyed hash of the submitted email address and request times. This processing relies on our legitimate interest in protecting the signup service. These records expire after one hour.
Service providers
Our hosting, database and email delivery providers process newsletter data on our behalf to store subscriptions and deliver emails.
Newsletter registration is not currently available. Details of any international data transfers will be provided here before signups open.
How long we keep it
We keep confirmed subscription and consent records until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Unsubscribing deletes your newsletter record from our active database. Unconfirmed signups expire after 48 hours and are removed during routine cleanup.
Your choices and rights
Withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at hello@anchorsdb.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the address above. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred.
